Need a graphic designer? First, let’s figure out the kind of graphic design you need. Frequently Asked Questions
We provide free consultations for prospective clients to meet with designers from our team, to get informed answers to their project questions. There are some questions however, that we can answer for you, right now. Take a moment to review, and feel free to contact us if we have not addressed the question you want answered.
What is the process to start a project?
There is an initial consultation where we ask questions to gather pertinent information, to get a good sense of your project goals and expectations. During this “Discovery Session” we will learn your exact needs and determine the most cost effective way to develop your project. Next, we will arrange a follow-up appointment to present our proposal for the project. This will include; the Project Time Line, a list of deliverables, a Project Milestone Schedule, a Scope of Services, and any pertinent project notes that we have notated to be carried out. This helps to keep our clients informed of each phase of the project, and when it is expected to be completed.
Next, we submit our design agreement for your review and approval. The agreement will include; scheduled project review sessions, payment scheduling, scope of work and a detailed list of the deliverables you will be receiving at the close of the project.
With the agreement signed, a 40% Good Faith deposit will be required to start the project. For your convenience, IT Support LA accepts payments using Pay Pal, as well as business and personal checks.
What is the design process?
Now that the formalities have been taken care of. Next, we focus on getting a good sense of your business brand, to create a design complimentary to the other marketing you may already have going on.
Next, the fun begins, where we create three renderings of your project for you and your team to review. You can choose one rendering, or take certain design aspects from one rendering and apply it to another. When that’s been done, we will then go back to the drawing table to tweak and refine the design so we can finalize the design to be posted on the Internet, or delivered to your printer in the file formats of your choice.

What is the time frame for a project?
Time frames can vary depending on the scope of the project and its complexity. At the time we submit a written proposal included will be; the scope of services, the project timeline and a schedule that will list any important dates related to the project such as; edit sessions, when milestones are expected to be completed, along with certain project deliverables.
There is an open line of communication with the client at all times (mainly via email). It is imperative that the client provide all of the necessary content including text, photos & images, logos in a timely manner to ensure the project flow.
Failure to provide this vital info can stall the project and delay the completion date at no fault of the designer. After the initial comp phase, a project moves more quickly — provided that all essential and necessary elements have been submitted by the client.
What are Unet Design's pricing, fees and payment processes?
As mentioned earlier, pricing depends on the needs of the project. Once that has been determined, a Good Faith payment typically 40% of the total amount of the project will be due, in order to begin the project. The remaining 60% of the balance still owed will be billed in three comfortable payment, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. Each payment is considered due once the edits submitted by the client has been completed by our team.
It is important to note that pricing for print design projects IS NOT included in the design, but will be listed as a separate cost. You are free to use our printer, or your own.
We try to make everything convenient for our clients, so we accept: Check, and all major Credit Cards via PayPal.
Are there “Rush Charge” fees for projects that need immediate attention?
It depends on the urgency. 3 day turn-arounds usually are billed with a 50% rush charge. As the demands increase, so will the rate. Be sure then, to use this convenience only when considered necessary. Cancellation or Kill fees may apply if a job gets cancelled midway through production. If so, then we will only bill a client for the work completed, up to the point of cancellation.
The remaining balance owed, will be delivered to you in the form of a check, and delivered 30 days following the cancellation. If the project is close to completion then an assessment of the work performed will be done to determine the amount to be refunded.
What format will graphic design project be delivered in?
All artwork for print is supplied in high res vector format (PDF or EPS) – so no quality is lost when the work is enlarged or reduced. If you want to use your images for web & social media purposes, then we will gladly supply you with JPEG or PNG file formats. Projects can be delivered in other formats upon request.
