Los Angeles CA is the county seat of Los Angeles County. A sprawling city in the southwest region of Southern California.
Fun Fact: L.A. was a wild town filled with scoundrels and ne'er-do-wells in the 1800s. It was a place where everybody was said to be working an angle" or scheme. When the time came to choose a town name "Los Angles" (or The Angles) was the winner by popular vote. The local typesetter mistakenly put in the extra E and the name Los Angeles began appearing everywhere. Scrambling to make sense of it rather than bear the expense of reprinting signs almanacs and Atlases someone realized it actually meant "The Angels" in Spanish. And so the City of the Angels was born although one notorious criminal said "HA! Try and find one".
