Fun Fact: During the process of name selection for the city, one faction wanted Saint Monica" after the mother of St. Augustine of Hippo but a faction opposed to religious references wrote a clause into the community charter disallowing the use of the word "Saint". Fortunately for the pro-Monica group won out since there was no "Santa" Clause.
